[Yakup] C&R Research, CLOP, and Trial Informatics signed an MOU to ‘Innovate Ophthalmic Clinical Trials’

C&R Research (CEO Moon-Tae Yoon), CLOP (Co-CEOs Sang-Jun Park and Hyun-Jun Kim), and Trial Informatics (Co-CEOs Kyung-Won Kim and Byung-In Yoon) announced that they have signed a three-party business agreement aimed at innovating clinical trials for ophthalmic diseases. This includes the evaluation of imaging data, integration with EMR, and the utilization of AI in multinational clinical trials.

 

CLOP is an ophthalmology-specialized platform company, and its AfterNOON platform provides real-time management and analysis services for ophthalmic patient data. CLOP continues to expand into new areas, such as identifying candidate substances, by utilizing AI technology in its analysis.

 

A representative from C&R Research stated, “The use and importance of imaging data in clinical trials are increasing, and this agreement will provide an opportunity to establish new clinical trials frameworks, such as using real-world evidence (RWE) and various experiences.” A representative from CLOP shared, “We are pleased that our technology can provide practical support in clinical trials through this agreement with C&R Research. Both companies will continue to cooperate to contribute to overcoming ophthalmic diseases.” A representative from Trial Informatics added, “This will be an opportunity to advance IT solutions for the development and use of imaging data, and we hope it will help in various image evaluations and collaborations.”
